| I had posted a few weeks ago with pics after the installation of my powder coated plenum to which some suggested that I paint the throttle cable cover black with read/chrome accents. Took three tries, yes THREE, but finally finished yesterday. Long story short, not once but TWICE whle transporting it to a shelf to dry after final clear coat I dropped it once and the second time slipped and knocked it against a shelf. Thanks for the suggestions on changing to black, I agree it looks much better. Anyway.... on to the pics

And after, painted high gloss black. Awaiting new NIssan letters in chrome and red from TT.net to complete the job (have not decided which to use). The V6 3000 strip is one from tt.net with the letters cut out. I then went to a Fast Signs and they overlaid it on a chrome vinly sticker and cut to the exact same width. The chrome lettering looks much, much better than my camera skils are able to portray.
Found this polished billet radiator cap cover on ebay the other day. It is just a coved that goes on over the cap and held with a set screw
I use the Bose center channel speaker cover as a way to hide stuff in the pocket where the speakers used to be. Did not like how it said Bose though so had an idea, sand off the Bose lettering and get some stickers to go in it's place. A fellow Z owner posted in reply on ZCar.com and said he could make some up. Above are all that he sent me except the one I applied, see the pic below. All the stickers are of the type that are on a metal (I think) layer with an adhesive on the back. The fonts are dead on matches to the 300ZX ones. Not sure if this mod adds any horsepower but I like it....
Again, my poor picture taking skills do not do this justice. Looks like it came from the factory with "300ZX TWIN TURBO" lettering there instead of Bose.
Not sure what I will do with the left over ones.
